I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel in the older areas of Jodhpur amidst the busy market with tiny streets. The location was perfect for immersing myself in the local culture and exploring the small shops. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to assist me during my stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and even had a small balcony with a nice view of the fort. The breakfast served on the rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with a magnificent view of the city.
All was well.

Located at the heart of the city the views from the roof are fab! The resturant on the roof is also great very tasty food and excellent value. The roof top is an excellent way to soak up the city without having to ump out of the way of cows and autorickshaws! A good backpacker option!
Rooms can be noisey at night due to the central location.

The family running the property is incredibly welcoming and caring. Great view of Mehrangarh Fort from the rooftop. Ideal for backpackers. Spotless room with a charming seating area outside. Old property with unique charm and details. Perfect location for exploring the city by foot. Friendly owner who offers tea or coffee during check-in. Beautiful and regal Jankhar temple suite. Convenient for shopping in the bazaar area.
Can't fault anything about it.

The roof top restaurant that doesn't even belong to the owners of the Blue house guesthouse!
Everything, dirty (really flilthy), dishonest, slizy, no service! Not one positive point... Avoid this guesthouse, plain and simple!

Located close to the fort, this budget hotel offers a peaceful stay away from the noisy mosque. Some markets are nearby, making it a convenient location for shopping. The rooms are nice and clean with comfortable beds, working showers, and a lovely chill-out area outside the room. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the breakfast terrace has a great view.
The air conditioning unit might not work optimally during hot seasons.

I stayed at The Blue House for the second time and will continue to do so while I am able to come to India. It is a heritage Boutique Guest house, the rooms being very spacious and beautifully appointed, and clean. There are many areas you can sit in the evening, being either the roof top or family area below. We consider it a haven away from the frantic pace of the city. The management team are son, father and mother and nepalie boys who have made it their life's work to ensure each and every guest is so very well looked after and treated like one of the family instead of a paying guest. The menu is delicious and even caters for Western tastes. The kindness of the family is superb The Blue House is not expensive, but you are treated like as a family member. Thanks to the family for showing us every kindness as usual. Room 12 is the best

The location in the Old Town is good. From the rooftop restaurant you have a great view over the town and to the fort, there is a nice atmosphere and the staff is really friendly.
The rooms have windows, but are quite dark.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is great as it is close to the Fort, possibly the only worthwhile attraction in this city. The staff arranged a tuktuk for us which made it easy to explore the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive and the breakfast served was delicious.
Can't fault the property in any way.

Hotel was just a piece of rubbish.never got what has been listed .first night specialy after a 16 hour journey was the worst one.when we arrived at hotel the owner did not give us the room we paid for.the room he had offered was smaller than a good sized toilet in a standered hotel.no water in the toilet.mosqueetoes were singing around.no space in the room.bed was so uncomfortable.owners are so greedy about money.the so called roof restaurant was rubbish.untrained rude staff.charging every thing at highest price as high they can.the stain on the table from the morning breakfast stayed till dinner. The electric wires falling around all over in the room.when it is asked to sort it out the owners mum come out with excuse that some one from electrician's family has been died. I will never recommend this hotel to any one.
Every thing.there was nothing to be liked about hotel.

I had the most incredible experience during my stay at a beautiful house in Jodhpur. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness. The charm and character of the place were evident in every corner, with stunning antique furniture and decorations that added to the overall atmosphere. The rooftop restaurant offered breathtaking views of the city, and the food was absolutely delicious, freshly made to order. One of the highlights of my stay was getting the chance to chat with Neetu, a delightful staff member who also happened to be an incredibly talented henna artist. She created a beautiful hand henna painting for me at a very reasonable price. The owners of the hotel were wonderful people with big hearts. I truly felt at home during my time here and cannot wait to return. The city of Jodhpur itself is simply stunning and incredibly safe to explore. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience.
